Q: Will this make me jittery?
A: Probably not. Green tea is a mild stimulant. There is only 15mg of caffeine per serving. The energy will be similar to drinking green tea.

Q: How is the green tea extract extracted from the plant?
A: It's steeped in mineral water for an extended period of time and then strained.

Q: Why are the capsules not green like matcha tea?
A: While crushed green tea leaves would be green, our product is green tea extract which is why the color is more of an orange-brown color. While green tea extract is derived from green tea plants, it undergoes a process of extracting out the most active ingredients of the plant. These active ingredients are called polyphenols and EGCG. Polyphenols and EGCG are powerful antioxidants. While drinking a cup of green tea would provide a small amount of these antioxidants, taking our green tea extract provides a much more concentrated dose. Because we are only extracting out the active ingredients the color is significantly different from crushed leaves.

Q: How much L-theanine is there in Green Tea Extract?
A: There is a very small amount of L-theanine present (less than 5mg per serving).

A: Yes, caffeine may actually enhance the effects of Green Tea.
