Q: What recent changes were made in this formula?
A: Most of the changes for Driftoff were due to the change from using powders to using extracts. Extracts are much easier to test for purity and potency and are more effective than powders.We also removed a few ingredients that weren't contributing to the effectiveness of the overall formula.
GABA – We raised from 50mg to 100mg – GABA is more effective at 100mg.
Valerian Root – We switched from using powder to using extract. We use 150mg of extract which has been shown to be an efficacious dose of Valerian Root. Chamomile – We switched from using powder to using extract
Passion flower – We switched from passion fruit to passion flower extract.
Lemon Balm – We switched to an extract from a powder and increased dosage from 50mg to 100mg.
HOPS – We now use 100mg.
Taurine - Removed due to new-found lack of effectiveness as a sleep aid.
Skullcap – Removed as wasn't adding to the effectiveness of formula.
Vitamin B6 – Removed as we determined it wasn't adding to the effectiveness of formula.
Calcium Citrate – Removed as we determined it wasn't adding to the effectiveness of formula.
St. John's Wort – Removed as we determined it's not stable in this formula. It has a tendency to interact with the other ingredients and degrade quickly.
Q: Will I have a hard time getting up in the morning?
A: The effects of Driftoff tend to last around 6 hours. You will want to take Driftoff at least 6 hours before you plan on getting up.
Q: Is this gluten-free?A: Yes, Driftoff is gluten-free.
Q: Can I take more than 2 capsules?
A: We recommend starting with 2 capsules since it is the recommended dosage. If 2 capsules is ineffective, you can increase the serving to 3 capsules.
Q: Are these capsules vegan?
A: Yes, these capsules are plant based and 100% vegan.
Q: Does this product contain soy?
A: There is no soy in Driftoff, but the facility Driftoff is produced in does manufacture products that contain soy.
Q: How many mg’s of Valerian Root are in this?
A: There is 150mg of Valerian Root per serving.
Q: So there is only 1 mg of melatonin per pill?
A: Yes, 1mg per capsule. A serving is 2 capsules which contains 2mg of melatonin.
Q: What’s Driftoff’s serving size?
A: Serving size: 2 veggie capsules. Servings per container: 30.
Q: Is Driftoff allergen free?A: Driftoff is screened for Gluten, Soy, Milk, Eggs, Fish, Shellfish, Tree Nuts, Peanuts, Wheat, Preservatives, Animal Products or Derivatives.
